The club is embarking on a huge drive to try and assist with the training and testing of skippers for "R" restriced waters or inland, river, dam skippers courses.

These courses will start in February 2008 and run regularly, on a monthly basis for the rest of the year. Details will be published shortly of the extact dates and how to enroll. This training will be held all over PWV but some outlying areas will only be done in certain months. All the johannesburg based training will be held at the Wahoo Ski-boat cub.

Category R skippers course will include 1 night of lectures, I written exam and 1 practical exam. It would also encompass the water worthiness of the craft and the registration numbers.
